Autologous blood therapy is usually performed eight to ten times. The interval also depends on the disease. For example, acute diseases should be treated every day with increasing dosage. Generally, the interval should be smaller, the more acute the disease or complaints are.
In case of chronic diseases, longer intervals with small dosage are better. At the beginning of the treatment an injection can be given twice a week and later only once a week. The more chronic the disease is, the longer the individual sessions should be apart.
In addition, it also makes sense for allergic diseases to begin therapy during a period without symptoms. In the case of hay fever, for example, treatment should rather be started in winter, when there is no active pollen season.
